The MCI is governed by a
Board of Directors, appointed or elected to reflect the funding of the Association and to ensure representation of all categories of membership.
- Manufacturing and importing members registering over 1.5% of the UK market are automatically entitled to a place on the Board.
- Directors are also elected by members to represent the needs of other membership categories: manufacturers registering less than 1.5% of the market, service providers, motorcycle trainers and accessory and component suppliers.
- An Independent Director ensures a representational balance is maintained.
- An Audit Committee (4 x Board Directors plus independent Auditor) assess financial and non financial risks.
