Traffic congestion in Britain’s cities has got worse over the past twelve months, according to the latest Tom Tom report, released this week.
The Motorcycle Industry Association will be investigating whether motorcycles could help reverse this, by staging a series of ‘city challenges’ in some of the worst affected areas.
These will involve seeing which mode of transport is most effective in getting people to work through peak commuter traffic – a motorcycle, a car or using public transport?
The results will be announced on Ride to Work Day, on June 16th, which kicks off a week-long programme of events to highlight the part single track vehicles could play in keeping traffic moving in our cities.
