MCIA helps make opportunity for dealers to learn about AFRL at Expo

MCIA is working with DVLA to encourage dealers to switch their first registration from paper to the new electronic Register a Vehicle service.

The Association’s Statistics Manager Heather Brown suggested DVLA attend Motorcycle Expo last year in order to reach as many dealers as possible and she has been advised that staff will be at this year’s show too.

She says:

“DVLA will have a stand at the show to explain how moving to the electronic system would save dealers time and money by reducing administration.

“It can be daunting switching to an electronic system, but DVLA staff can help explain how to make the change.  It is also worth noting that there is no additional expense to switching to the new Register a Vehicle web based service, as you log straight into the DVLA portal to use it. All you need is an internet connection”

Advance notice

The look and feel of the service is changing from April this year, so Expo will also be an opportunity for those using the current AFRL system to see what the changes will be and to ask questions.

MCIA staff will also be on hand to chat at the show in the Exhibitors’ Lounge.

Motorcycle Trade Expo is on at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, 14-16 January 2018
