You have until April 22nd to apply for grant funding which is available to small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) in the West Midlands looking to develop electric vehicle technology and intelligent vehicle systems.* This is aimed at those wanting to ‘buy in’ expertise for a short term project of no more than 4 to 6 weeks and with a total value of between £5,000 and £40,000. It could be for the design of anything from a battery component to a part for an electric switch. A grant of up to 40% of the total project value is being made available through the Coventry University based Electric and Intelligent Vehicles Project.
Project officer Khezir Akhtar says decisions will be made quickly, within a few weeks: “The project team can offer considerable help, advice and support to applicants. There are no complicated application forms to fill out either, they are really simple and streamlined”. Contact Khezir by email or phone as soon as possible to discuss whether your project would qualify. email@example.com
