Involved in the motorsport business? Get financial help to attend trade shows

Help with the cost of attending trade shows abroad is possible, thanks to a joint initiative between the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) and the government department for UK Trade and Investment (UKTI).     The ‘Tradeshow Access Programme’ (TAP) provides funding in the form of grants for eligible businesses with the aim of helping those businesses gain:
  • Market knowledge
  • Advice and support from trade experts
  • Experience in attending and getting the most from overseas trade shows
Taking part in overseas exhibitions is an effective way to test markets, attract customers, appoint agents or distributors and make sales. UKTI’s Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP) provides grant support for eligible SMEs to attend trade shows overseas.
£1,500 is available for Europe, £2,000 for the USA. Contact your local UKTI International Trade Adviser (ITA)or click here to identify your regional contact.
Funding is available for the following 2015 Shows:
  •          Engine Expo (only 4 TAP grants remain)
16-18 June 2015: Messe Stuttgart, Germany
UKTI is currently in the process of confirming funding for the following Shows (see below) and others to be confirmed.
