Last few places on industry Induction Day available

There are a few spaces left on the Motorcycle Industry Association's next Induction Day, to be held in Coventry on Tuesday 28th April.
Induction Days are aimed at those new to the industry, or who want to update their knowledge. They focus on two main elements of motorcycling – an overview of the industry and what’s involved in riding a motorcycle or scooter.  The morning session will cover training, testing, licensing, bike styles and bike ownership.  The afternoon session looks at the opportunities for the industry, the market environment and work of the MCIA.  It is possible to attend one or both sessions and they are free of charge to members. The programme is presented by CEO Steve Kenward and Membership Manager Sandra Cole (pictured).  “It just isn’t possible to operate effectively within the industry without having some sort of accurate overview,” explained Sandra Cole.  “The danger of neglecting this is that staff will fall back on clichés,” she added. These short courses are also suitable for those hoping to enter the motorcycle sector, for example PR agencies pitching for work in the industry, but there will be a charge for non-members. Induction Days are also scheduled for 28th July and 27th October and can be delivered on site for larger groups. Details
