New motorcycle registrations are up for the seventh consecutive month this year, leading to a revised forecast for 2014.
CEO Steve Kenward stated: “At the beginning of the year, we forecast the sale of around 92,000 motorcycles. As a result of strong performance, we have revised this to around 100,000 units for 2014.”
14.5% more bikes were registered in July, compared to July 2013, which represents an overall increase of 11.4% (year to date).
Naked bikes were once again the style which saw the biggest increase. New registrations for these rose 37.7% year to date, up 38.2% when comparing July 2014 with July 2013.
